Professor Campbell holds a journalism degree from the famed Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from National University in San Diego.
Before coming to Ferrum College to head up the journalism program, Campbell spent 18 years in public education, garnering two VHSL State Championships, 10 First-Place national awards, 8 First-Place state showings, as well as awards for investigative reporting, layout, and overall excellence.
